Cancellation policy and leaving early

2 questions

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations of Less Than 30 Days

You may cancel your reservation 7 days or more before your scheduled move-in date for a full refund. If you cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled move-in date, the reservation is non-refundable, except where a refund is otherwise required by law.

Reservations of 30 Days or More

You may cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your scheduled move-in date for a full refund. If you cancel less than 30 days before your scheduled move-in date, the first 30 days of your reservation are non-refundable, except where a refund is otherwise required by law.

California 24-Hour Cancellation Right

For reservations covered by California's 24-hour cancellation law, a reservation made at least 72 hours before check-in may be canceled without penalty within 24 hours after the reservation is confirmed, regardless of the cancellation policy above.

Can I leave early?

Reservations of Less Than 30 Days

Yes, you may leave before your scheduled check-out date. However, your reservation remains subject to the original booking terms. This is because the accommodation was reserved specifically for your stay and may have been unavailable to other prospective guests during those dates. Once the stay has begun, we generally cannot guarantee that the unused portion can be rebooked on short notice.

Reservations of 30 Days or More

Yes. You may end your stay early by providing at least 30 days' written notice through your account. You remain responsible for rent and any other applicable charges through the end of the 30-day notice period, even if you move out earlier. The 30-day notice requirement allows us reasonable time to remarket the accommodation, coordinate showings, prepare for the next resident, and minimize unexpected vacancy.
